There's not much to say about the item as it DOES what it's supposed to do...BUT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A COMMENT-SOMEWHERE THAT YOU MUST FIRST RINSE THIS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING IT-OTHERWISE THE SALTS INHERENT TO THE FRYING WILL MAKE YOUR SOIL TOO ACIDIC AND YOUR PLANTS WILL DIE IF USED RIGHT OUT OF THE "PACKAGE"
WASH IT FIRST BEFORE USING IT

I bought this to try it and I wish I would have bought five of them. It really does expand quite a bit. I didn't have time to wait for another shipment so I just went to a gardening store to get more. Wrong. It was three times as expensive in the store even with paying the shipping costs. Next February I will be ordering at least 5 bricks.
